12 Week Half Marathon Training Schedule


I was at home all the time because I had lost my job and had nothing to do. Entire day, I used to watch TV. These days, I had started eating too much. My weight had increased considerably and at times I was having pain in my chest.

I was single and before I lost my job my parents had decided to get me married but now, since I had no job they had stopped looking for a girl for me. My father had a grocery store and he always used to ask me to join him but I was never interested in working in his store.

I am a well educated person and I hold a Masters degree in electrical engineering. I wanted to do PHD in electrical engineering but my father never wanted me to study. My father always thought education was waste of time and money. My father was an illiterate person but my mom was educated and had a degree in accounting.

My mom had encouraged me to study engineering and she supported me every time. From the time, I lost my job my father had become very vocal and was constantly harassing me to work in his grocery store.

Due to chest pain, my mom took me to a heart specialist. The doctor asked me to do few medical tests. Next day, when I went with the medical report the doctor told me, I was having high cholesterol and I needed to check my weight as well as wayward eating habit.

The doctor told me, it was essential for me to lose weight quickly and he advised me to join a 12 Week Half Marathon Training Schedule. The doctor told me that running is the best way to lose tons of kilos without dieting, but he also told me that it is essential to take a healthy diet to remain fit and strong.

I had appeared for few interviews and was offered job by 2 companies. Due to my health problem, my mom told me not to accept any job offer now, but I knew it was not easy to get a job. I decided to take a job where joining was after 2 weeks.

I started my 12 Week Half Marathon Training Schedule and in no time I lost tons of kilos and my physical fitness had improved drastically. Now I was feeling fit, strong and healthy.
